Global Fear by Eduardo Galeano
There’s always global fear, that fear that sometimes limits us from continuing to advance toward something better. Global fear by Eduardo Galeano remains intact, even after so much time.
Fear Rules
And we always live it, especially those of us who inhabit this world governed by fear, being mostly the governor. But sometimes we believe we must fight and beat those fears, especially those that lead us to do incredible things. What would power be without fear?
We believe fear is part of life, and if you see them as villains, perhaps you can push it in your favor. In this world, fear exists in many facets, and as Eduardo Galeano has written:
There are endless fears, but the main one, we believe, for being global themes, is the fear of global fear itself.
Global Fear by Eduardo Galeano
Those who work are afraid of losing their job. And those who don't work are afraid of never finding work. Those who aren't afraid of hunger are afraid of food. Drivers are afraid to walk and pedestrians are afraid of being run over. Democracy is afraid to remember and language is afraid to speak. Civilians are afraid of the military. The military are afraid of lack of weapons. Weapons are afraid of lack of war. It's the time of fear. Fear of woman's violence from man and fear of man from woman without fear. Fear of thieves and fear of police. Fear of the door without locks. Of time without clocks. Of the child without television. Fear of night without sleeping pills and morning without wake-up pills. Fear of solitude and fear of crowds. Fear of what was. Fear of what will be. Fear of dying. Fear of living. This leads us to the idea that it’s better to live without fear, because fear is just one more state of human complexity, and if used correctly, that fear becomes courage and risk to do something incredible in this world.
