Love of Dogs
Love of Dogs tells us about a Zombie Apocalypse, which as a central theme has already been used in countless stories in cinema, TV, and even school excuses.
But relax—what’s always important is the perspective from which the topic is treated, and Steadfast Stanley, the short film, puts a dog as protagonist—apparently a Welsh Corgi—who is left behind by his owners while the world is eaten bite by bite by the living dead. Abandoned to his fate, Stanley decides not to give up and goes searching for his young owner.
This is where he embarks on an adventure that becomes dramatic at moments, but will surely leave us with a beautiful smile on our faces in the end.
Dogs are not your whole life, but they make your life whole Roger Caras
The creator of this beautiful short film is John Kim, a CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) student who presented Steadfast Stanley as his third-year project. Undoubtedly a great display of talent and at the same time a particular interest in those non-human friendships.
