The Script,  Don't Tell My Boyfriend/Girlfriend

Silence Is a Mistake

They have absolutely nothing—they are two strangers sheltered by mistake in the same box of workplace deaf people. She despairs with her hands, never assumes a posture of silence. On the contrary, she moves under an insipid rhythm seeking Martian melody in that stranger.

Why Silence Feels Like Emotional Isolation

He is blind before spectators, doesn’t suspect nor give suspicions. He knows the deaf see—a melody that distances him from the mundane rests in his mind, he keeps it only for himself. It’s possible that tomorrow they’re no longer deaf and a Martian melody sounds through loudspeaker. But if that’s possible, don’t be surprised if it remains a mistake, because although they have absolutely everything, they don’t stop seeing themselves as the silence of both.
